VAT filing

VAT filing in Thailand: 1.8 million baht revenue, penalties, and surcharges to know

When annual revenue reaches the VAT registration threshold, businesses should plan registration and monthly VAT filing carefully. Not registering, filing late, or filing incorrectly can lead to penalties based on the tax amount and monthly surcharges, so organized accounting records are essential before each deadline.

Financial statements and PND 50

Late annual financial statements and PND 50: fines and surcharges businesses should know

Annual financial statements must be filed within the legal deadline. Late or missing filings may lead to DBD fines based on entity type and delay period. If PND 50 is not filed on time, the Revenue Department notes fines of up to 4,000 baht and a surcharge of 1.5% per month on tax payable. Closing accounts and preparing tax early helps reduce these risks.

Business and official translation

Translation is not only about words: context, certification, and purpose matter

Business and official documents often need more than literal translation. Contracts, company documents, tax records, certificates, and government paperwork should use language that fits the document type, required certification, receiving agency, and the client purpose.
